Apartment Hunting…

It took us 1 week and 2 days to find an apartment and wow was it taxing. We were exhausted after about 2 days, much less adding a week to that. We searched from the morning until well after dark. We were so grateful on Friday afternoon when we received the call that the apartment that we wanted was approved.

It’s a little bit smaller than our apartment was in Atlanta and only twice our rent from Atlanta. I say ‘only’ because we were originally expecting a bit more. It’s in Sunnyside, Queens and only a few blocks from the 7 train. It’s also only a 17 minute ride into Times Square. So, we’re pretty close to just about everything!
